Soundcloud is using content detection...

Wow, I'm kind of blown away, not a huge deal because I figured out the workaround the same as youtube. I basically finished a preview of a free EP I'm releasing sometime in the future, it's a bunch of remixes of classic old tunes and the very start is about 30 seconds of the original track and when I uploaded a preview to soundcloud I got an email saying it was detected as being copywritten material, and being held for review.

Forgive me if this is old news, but all year and forever really I've been uploading or listening to peoples bootlegs, mashups and unauthorized remixes of copyrighted tunes on Soundcloud. I guess I didn't get the memo?????

Anyways, I remember people having uploaded things to youtube and just leaving some empty space at the start, I didn't feel like wasting my time testing it so I did 1 minute and it worked fine, for now I guess...
But the real question is, when did this start, and what does it mean for the future? Are they getting worried about the SOPA bullshit?? Anyone else had problems with this?
