There is a thread for this!

Set osc 1 to about 3pm, change to formant. Assign lfo5 to osc 1 intensity. Change pitch to -14.7, route to filter 1. Osc 2 waveform deep throat, tune to +48, assign lfo 6 to osc2 volume. route osc2 to filter 2. osc 3 square wave, -30 pitch, assign to both filters. set modulation osc to -0.78, assign phase mod to osc 3, ring mod to osc2. assign lfo 7 to mod osc, +19semitones.

have filter 1 scream with scream and reso on full, have osc 2 comb with both on full again. put insert 1 and 2 after each filter, and set to sine shaper and hardclipper on maximum to give it some bite. turn feedback and noise osc to full.

go to the voicing tab, set max and unisono to 16. keep it on poly for a fatter sound. turn on pitch cutoff about halfway.

fx1 should be brauner tube set high. fx2 should be reverb on maximum wet and large size. assign lfo 8 to size.

now this is the basic sound, but you'll need to frequency split this into at least 5 different bands, and add distortion to each of them until it sounds right.

Thank you mark!

I don't think 5 bands is enough.

You should split each of the splits again in increments of pi but make sure you follow it to 140 decimal places.

^ :L Layering is pretty key with these sort of excision sounding synths, try duplicating massive twice and fiddling around with filters and wavetables to give different sounds on each layer. Not sure about using a formant virutalmark, but definitely scream filter and deepthroat

i forgot that part, thanks for the tip. also forgot to mention to run it through at least 10 guitar amps for more bite.

Word word.
For best results run a lead from the headphone jack to the mic input so it layers the warmth.

I have followed this to the teeth and have come up with all sorts of noise. How the heck aren't you clipping? there are a ton of filters set on max wet and size. Am I missing something huge or is there something big you forgot to include?

did you remember to frequency split all 5 bands and process them separately? thats the end all be all right there, will get rid of all your troubles.
