Can anyone offer me the best advice on exactly everything I need for my setup? Like best laptop/programs/mixers. Thank you :)

I'm sure that a simple search through this forum's content would answer your question really quick. An ideal setup would be a good and small all purpouse audio interface (Presonus Audiobox / M Audio Fast Track), a good daw (millions to choose), a versatile soft synth (massive, zeta, zebra, albino, etc), good monitors (yamaha ys50s, rokit kp6s et coetera) and a MIDI controller (M Audio Oxygen, Axiom and others). This and a nice plugin bundle will get you going. As for a laptop, anything with 4gb or + RAM will do I guess. You will find much more in depth information by using the search tool.
