I'll finish reading this in a little bit(at pg. 3),but really interesting no doubt.
It might end a few debates between musicians,record companies,and the RIAA.

haha...dunno if it will end the debates, but hopefully start a few concerning why musicians continue to let the past/current recording industry practices dictate how we do things.

good article, i reckon that careers founded on the intertnet can easily be destroyed by the internet though...

well, part of the point is that the majority of musicians actually make their money from live gigs. so the internet is a promotional tool unlike any other to get your music heard in places that it would never have been heard before, which extends your reach as far as getting gigs. that's the theory anyway...
