I know there is a lot of the people on this board who were into ukg back in the days so i hope that some of you will share your knowledge and point me in the right direction!
The story goes like this – during the last years I`ve tried to get into the garage back catalogue, but it seems to be a pretty hard job though. For every tune I like I must skip through like 20-30 tunes which, for me, sound like crap! The reason that I´m still digging really hard for tunes is that, when I find a tune I like, I just LOVE IT! Therefore I hope there are some of you guys who will guide me through the jungle of 90`s garage.
Basically I´m digging the more deep end of the genre witch has a lot of soul/rnb influences/references. There are just so much cheesy stuff out there so it`s pretty hard to find artists whom I dig all the way! i love must the stuff i`ve heard from folks like El-b and groove chronicles especially...
and a little bit more uptempo and catchy
and since im also an old reggae head i love tunes using reggae samples/references
Hope some of you will show me other tunes i can love and my neighbours can hate
Thanks in advance!
