Malleus - Extreme Precision EP - Surround Sound [SSNDDS005]

After a short break Surround Sound are back for the new year with a debut EP from Dubstep artist, Malleus.
First up is the title track Extreme Precision, with it's bugged out swirly synth-line introduction, neck snapping drums and hard edged low end workout lead this one off from the drop breaking down briefly as it leads you back into the maelstrom of Malleus' bassline attack.
The second track Punisher leads with a plucky oriental style intro, dropping into beefy bass and stabby riffs pushed along by distorted kick drums. This one can only be described as futuristic kung-fu guaranteed to pull no punches as it chops and kicks with it's relentless energy.
Rounding things off we have Knock your Teeth in which lives up to it's name with heavy stabs and whats soon to become the trademark Malleus bass and drums. One to watch for the future...
