sounds nice to me mate, crisp and warm sounds...some good effects coming in and out making the tune flow better....not too keen on the second drop but good to experiement i guess, just dont think its worked..also 8 mins is a bit long ...would say to cut it back a couple...

it is a wip though so there are a few things worth revisiting

I love the "bug zapper" feel to the end with the synth effects (sorry only term that came to mind). I agree that it might be too long, but with the atmosphere it keeps me interested. But there is something missing to me. I know that is just easy to say and leave it at that - but would a hand shaker add something or something with a minimal sound?

I think the snare line needs turning up in the last section.
Plus theirs actually more going one, I just need to turn up some volume on a synth or 2.

I think it needs a bit of snap throughout, to give it more of a foot tap feel.
Someone else commented to a similar degree.

Keep tweaking it and rolling with it - it's a cool twist! In a deeper way it reminded me of Emalkay's Crusader where I'm sure there is a definite drop but to me its like climbing a mountain in a car, you've got your foot on the gas and everyonce in a while you don't have to press down as much, but over all you are still keeping your foot on the accelerator. I guess I need to crank the tune louder in my car! HA!

nice, something a bit different. theres alot going on but doesnt get too overwhelmed. I like the bassline in the second drop, just not too keen on the higher synth. personal preference tho. nice percussion. good job

mate, this is very nice. lovely stuff. i'd maybe have a subtle high hat in the first bit to allow a dj to mix the intro, but it builds really nicely. i'm not to concerned with the length if you got hard with it and changed up to a heavier kick and snapping snare to really finish of brutally. i'd prob make this happen around the 5:30 - 6:00 mark.

just listened to the second version and you seem to do this anyway... but i'd go harder... wicked stuff, man.

Oh my, the second is such an improvement - 6 minutes is well worth it. I love the build throughout the song and the final few seconds feels like a loved one has left me and you're looking for them to come back. The 8 minute was a bit too long and the 6 is emotional. I like it (yes, I know, confusing series of statements). Plus your 4.5 gigabytes is a deep rolling tune! Largeness!!!!
