Do you bus all your Bass noises together?

What effects do you put on the bus e.g. compression, distortion etc

i bus them to a main bass buss with a highpass EQ to take out sub frequencies (and sometimes some light compression), then from there it goes to 2 more busses: one for high frequencies in stereo and one for lows in mono. It's a bit unnecessary sometimes but i have it set up in my template project whenever I start something and can be useful to get a nice focussed mix. I don't buss my sub bass

On a serious note i do buss my bass channels.Well mid anyway, just for compression/limiting or whatever i feel needs doing.I always group.Drums,mid/bass,vocals....I get each of the levels to sit rite within each group and then set the group bus levels from here.I don't always work like that because i can be lazy but it is something i will do 90% of the time.

^ This. Really helps to keep the consistency throughtout the track.

For bass, I usually just add a low ratio compressor that works like glue. Sometimes I add delay if I want that effect.

i have used pre-fader sends to bus them quickly and easily, while allowing me to mix in their independent dry signals to taste. On the bus i put a little compression and a highpassed reverb
i don't do beats with "mass-line" style bass lines much, though.

Totally. I can post screenshots of that exact concept in action.

But, to answer OPs question, it depends on the sound what effects I put on, at bare minimum theres usually some saturation on there to color everything the same.
