I've just moved from the UK to Lubbock, Texas.
I've realised very quickly that there is not a lot (well nothing) going on anywhere near me in terms of intelligent bass music.
The only night I have seen advertised in my town for example is Excision
I'm calling for help from people from Texas and the surrounding states for nights that don't put on screechy wobble.
I am prepared to travel a fairly long way. I just need some leads.
Peace

In texas, only person I know right off hand is Bokator... he produces a variety himself, but if you PM'd him on here he might know where you can find event listings and the like.
good luck man, the intelligence hasnt moved too far west yet, you get some decent acts up around the northeast into the midwest a bit, but down south/far west... IDK... seems pretty aggro to me.

Yeah and Austin always doing big things. Bit of a ride though.
Not sure where it's advertised now though, usually just word of mouth. Probably facebook though, and do512.com probably. The clubs Plush and Barcelona, Mad Classy and Weight put on good nights.

Move to Denver, Colorado. Biggest dubstep scene in the U.S . Every Friday is Bassic Fridays at Club Beta. And there are a million & 1 events here for EDM.
Sub.Mission Dubstep just teamed up with Dub Police so a lot of them are playing in the months to come in Denver.
Red Rocks is epic and it's in Denver. So is Global Dance Festival! Proud to say I was in the crowd for Day 2 and Day 3 ;o)
Hatcha @ Beta with Sub.Mission Dubstep.
Skream with Sub.Mission Dubstep.
Caspa/D1/MattyG/RodAzlan with Sub.Mission Dubstep
Aka move your ass to Denver cuz you ain't going to find shit in Texas for dubstep. Cuz Sub.Mission Dubstep is the best Promoters for Dubstep in the U.S and supposely Beta is the best Club in the U.S. Also Denver is the best for EDM imo

I disagree. The pacific northwest has a pretty decent scene. Here in Portland, Oregon, there's a fairly large following of the deeper stuff.

Skream - Filth <--- Same song for all the parts you're looking for.
Skream - Simple City <-- Sick one. 2nd Song ever of dubstep I've heard in 09 that got me sucked into this never-ending orgasmic rage. Aka Dubstep. Such a wide variety of sounds! Loving all the deep to brostep sounds! +1 For Music

Both of them are on Skreamizm Volume 5.
I gotta say, that's probably my favorite Skreamizm. My favorite track on there would have to be If You Know.
MAN that track is good

I don't think Simple City is in the video. I just put that song in the post just for the hell of it.

It's the same song as the one I posted. Skream - Filth just go to 2:18 and it's the same thing as 3:35 in the other video.
If you're looking for the guy rapping/singing whatever on top of that...then idk cuz that's a different song merged with Skreams original.

It's certainly a solid EP. But in honesty I have no idea why Simple City was chosen for it rather than the monster that is Levitated.
