First Kick on the drop is hardly audible???

Hey guys , I'm new to this forum so I hope you'll give me some patience
For a start the track in question is drum and bass rather than dubstep :L
and secondly, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place D:
But here is the track,
Soundcloud
If you listen closely you can hardly hear the first kick on the drop (around 45 seconds). I've tried compression, turning the velocity and volume up, EQing with the bass but nothing seems to work and the other kicks seem fine.
I would really appreciate some help with this as I will be releasing this as a free single in the coming months!
Also, just a quick note to say that the track isn't fully finished yet and I havn't started the mixdown or anything yet incase you're wondering
I aslo use FL10.
Thanks for your time and patience,
Zack.

Answer in simplest form would be that you need to Sidechain your Bassline to the kick so it punches through.
Also bring the drums up in the mixdown, way too quiet in comparison to that rest of that song.

might sound stupid, but do you have the fruity limiter on the master by any chance? If so and bassline levels are too high, the limiter will bring down the overall level and the kick will be much quieter.

Check you mix. The drums,(kick, snare, hat) lets say they hit about -12 or -10 db. The kick should be the loudest and the snare following etc. The mid-range bass should be a couple decibels below, so maybe around -14db based on my given example.

Thank you so much guys! I've taken the limiter off the master bus and added a slight sidechain and done some adjusting to the volumes and started the mixdown as I'm working on it and it's already sounding better, thank you so much!

FL still has that? Delete that limiter and save a new blank project without it.

Yeah, but there is an option to not have it there when you open a new project, but I always thought it helped...

clearly it doesn`t
you need to either sidechain or eq the midrange

Take the limiter off and read the money shot thread.
