Makeing a wav sound more "natural"?

So I have all my massive sounds into wav on an audio track. The sound doesnt really have bass so i layered a bass line to it. My problem is that I think the wav sounds too "fake" or "plasticy". Anyone know a good way to beef up the sound and make it sound more "natural"?

saturation, compression, boost the low mids, shelf the highs a couple dB lower, verb..?

yeah i didnt think about saturation for some reason :D it just seems to have a glassy sound to it. like its fake lol
