Looking for a filter..

So I had a quick look around google and all my searches didn't come up with much. I'm looking for a filter that allows me to mimic massives performer. I want to be able to set up for example a lowpass LFO and draw in filter shapes (possibly with some preset shapes?) while adjusting how many get played when a sample is triggered (1 bar, 2 bars etc). There are some other things I'd hope the filter had but these are the main points, I love massives performer but want to be able to use something similar to it on sounds I'd made and bounced that didn't come from massive. Does a filter like this exist?

wow filter. its kind of simple but has a really cool sound to it. one of those filters where you can blast the overdrive and the resonance and it will still sound smooth.

its not exactly that same as massive performer but the fabfilter volcano is pretty badass. you can use a lfo to mod most of the parameters and can get pretty creative with the shapes of the LFO, which you can change over the course of how ever many bars you are wanting to modulate. the other features are really sick in it as well. the other option would be to just draw the performer shapes in over the midi notes, giving you even more flexibility then the performer in massive offers.

I'd heard some good things about fabfilter but never gave it a try, picked up the demo for that and filtershaper, which looks pretty nice. TAL-filter looks to be right down my alley as well, how is this thing free.. Got a lot of playing around to do tonight, big ups you guys!

Performer is a controller not a filter?
Just use automation? Isnt that what automation is for?

I do use automation, and will still use it for times when I want a bit more control over filter movements. However when making a groove for example, I had a lot more success and could get some ideas down quicker using massives performer rather than spending 45 minutes drawing intricate curves and edges using automation on top of midi notes for a 16 bar loop. I just want to be able to get near the same results when I'm not using massive

Make a sequencer with a separate envelope for every step... reaktor?
