Free graphic design wanted!

first of all, didn't know where i could post this so mods can move this where they want
i'm sure at least DFRNT will gladly give his two cents about this and i'm sure i get a lot of spam and jokes in this topic but regardless
i don't know if 'graphic design' is literally what i'm looking for, but in lack of a better word for it: if anyone's feeling helpful, has the tools and a good taste, i'd love if you'd make a poster for our monthly bass music event. the thing is, we already have a sort of a "designer" but lately he's been getting lazy and actually the club owner said his designs are so ugly he wouldn't want to put them on the wall and told me to look for someone else to do the poster.
i don't know how to, don't have the software either and even if i did, i'm not artistic enough to make one that people would bear to watch.
why i'm not paying: it's really just a small event at a small venue in a small town. we don't get any money off of it (free entry) so financially i wont be gaining anything no matter how beautiful the flyer might be. additionally, i'm broke.
why you would do this: because of sheer kindness, you like the idea of having a flyer you designed posted on a wall somewhere in rural finland (considering you're not from around here

if there are actually kind souls that do this sort of charity, post here and let me know if you're interested
