I know this can be difficult to answer as some months have more releases than others... but on average how much of your hard earned money goes on the the black stuff a month?
am generally interested but also want to make myself feel better for always being skint through my addiction

At moment i only spend about £30 a month if that on vinyl due to high rent and bills. Tho when i lived with my parents and i was working
iused to spend from £40 - £70 a week on vinyl. It's all about the educated buyer less can sometimes be more.

50-100 pounds sounds about right. it really depends on the month though, so it can be on the low side of that or the high. sometimes i'll splurge and buy a rare record for a lot of $$$ on top of the other purchases
it's fucking terrible, as an 18 year old student without a job, i'm pretty much broke 100% of the time cause all my money goes to vinyl and gas, and the little bit left over goes to food and weed

I assume you're from the US? Be glad the drinking age is 21 over there.. i'm a 20 year old student and almost all my left over money goes on drink. I buy 1 or 2 vinyls a month but i dont have decks yet so i'll be spending a lot more when i eventually do get them.. just getting white labels and stuff atm.

at uni (many moons ago) i spent 95% of my food money on vinyl and lived on literally
with white bread to make dodgy sandwiches.
it won't be drinking or smoking that will cause me problems with my health in the future, it will be 3 years of eating that shit!

yeah, but it's not like that's stopping me. good thing i don't drink much anyways though
i did the same thing back in the day though, i started buying vinyl at like 14/15 and didn't get my first turntable until i was 17

I'd love to be spending money on vinyls but the same as these lads ^^ I'm a student and no longer have a job. So it's all food, drink and weed for me

too much
i love it, enjoy it, and will (hopefully) have it forever so why the fuck not? the ever decreasing space in my flat is becoming a major issue though...
