This is really nice. The lo-fi background is a great sound bed, the beat is sparse without being empty, enough shuffle to give it some human feel. The vocal is haunting, plus you've placed it really well in the mix. Like the bird noises that are being used as incidentals as well.

The piano synth fits in with the whole tune well, again good mixdown job on that. Nothing is too stark.
