So we (Sub Swara) alongside Hellfire Machina are presenting the 3rd installment of our Sub City Sessions gig this Friday (info in the event forum:
http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=233129).
We're in an interesting place in Bass Music in NYC-- growing from the 90's d&b subculture of Macc's Konkrete Jungle, Camouflage, Dj Soeul's Direct Drive and myriad other events/shops/promoters (Breakbeat science, Liquid Sky), through to dubwar, Sub Swara, T&B, and onto our amazing contemporaries Reconstrvct, Percussion Lab, Natural Selection, and Hellfire's large events; there is SO much going on in SO many directions, without even mentioning our extremely strong house, dancehall and hiphop events and roots. As Sub City, we've continued a bit where Sub Swara left off, bringing under-recognized US talent to NY. we debuted lazer sword, the glitch mob (in 06!), and most recently Nasty Nasty, and while we've got our own list of folks to book, we're curious:
who do you want to see? Especially folks who don't easily fit into any of the current parties-- there's SO much talent around right now, we can't keep track of everyone. would love to know who yr feelin, and who may have slipped under our radar!
thx

The Noah D show is gonna be heavy ( I really wanted to put serious

) His forthcoming lp is most certainly worth checking out. Super stoked to be having him headline this chapter.
As Dave quite rightly said, it's insane how many amazing artists are around at the minute in all shapes and sizes, so let us know who you would like to see at Sub City Sessions and we'll do our best to make it happen.
That goes for any aspect of the events, your input is welcomed. If you feel we can make any improvements from your perspective as a party goer then let us know, ideas and criticism are just as welcome as praise.
Blessings!
J

I have never seen Kromestar live. I'd really like for him to play here.
As for US talent:

Skynkro, Compa, Thelem, Killa + Instinct, Sleeper + District. Not sure how feasible these are but would love to catch them. I'm sure most have yet to come stateside.
