Coverage On The Internet

How do you guys promote your sounds? I'm talking about making the jump from 100-200 views on all of your songs to 1,000 - 10,000 and so on?
Right now I only get views from people I show it too, on a forum and facebook/in person mostly.
Where do you post your stuff? what kind of language do you use? How long did it take?

they best way to get your tunes heard is by giving it to dj's who play radio shows online and raves/dances
hopefully your goal is to get a crowd moving as opposed to collecting hits on the net

No, i use hits as a tool to see how many people are checking me out, i just want to hear my song played at a show. That would be the most satisfying feeling to me.. and i lol'd at most of the replies but i wonder if there is anyway that is less greasy

find a dj who plays out who actually likes your tunes.... thats literally the easiest way

right, good dj is the way to go
look for blogs that feature new artist similar to your sound or summat
