I think the midrange could benefit from a few subtle changes, and maybe a few incidental sounds to keep interest. Would love to hear the finished version!

Hey man,

There are a couple of changes I feel would benefit the song greatly. First, try maybe making the midrange a bit more aggressive. That might just be my taste, but I think a bit of a sharper edge would be great.
Some cymbals and stuff to fill out the highend other than the hats would be awesome. The snare could perhaps use a bit more tail on it? Not sure, just sounds a little empty or something.
The mix in general sounds a bit empty... Just some incidentals and stuff to fill it out could make it great.

It's also a tiny bit repetitive, maybe try changing up the bassline a bit or something?

I do like the groove you've got going though, just keep working on it and filling it out and stuff.

Thanks for the feedback, definitely will take all that into consideration. I really didnt have any specific plans with this so we shall see what happens

try adding an intro, a few breaks and build ups, that will spice it up

I'm just bothered a bit by the off beat kick, I think it needs to be a bit quieter than the others.
