That's a real shame.
Says it all really! DMZ sold us out for Amsterdam - way to kill a tradition!
i'm glad i've moved over to 130.
What's everyone elses thought? I'm feeling very bitter as you can see aha!
Why are we lacking in the moaning of this?

Because the 6th birthday was ruined by over hype, it's a good thing that DMZ are letting things die down in my opinion.
DMZ owe nothing to no one and they can run their nights as they please.

It's one of my best friends' birthday night out tomorrow. So in a way I'm kinda glad there's no DMZ as I would've felt bad sacking my friend off to go.
The DMZ birthdays got out of hand towards the end but I'd love to see a return of the normal nights, but with Mass being sold off, I could see that providing a natural end to it sadly.

Didn't Mala & Coki play most of their set last year on one deck cause it was such a sweat pit and overcrowded? Digital Mystikz should never be placed in a sentance with 'selling/sold out' in it.

this
obviously i'd love to be able to go to a DMZ night as they used to be but that's not going to happen so if they want to do something else then fair play to them

why do people feel the need to "move" between "scenes" (if such a thing even exists in 130 music)

I haven't been to DMZ yet...but money and the fact it seems like it gets total rammo has put me off.
This is why System is appealing to me...I just want the Dubstep hype to die down so it can get a bit more contained. I wanna go to DMZ.

I never went to one!! I booked tickets to go up on the coach for another DMZ then it got cancelled like two days before

. Wish they would put on a UK night but understand they are not obliged to.

I think you guys defend them far too much, you've really got to stop acting like it's a religion and that they are Gods.
Of course they don't HAVE to put on a night but in a way they owe it to us for all the support we've given them. They should support us as much as we support them, the legacy they've built is built by them but supported by us. Us as the fans have made them who they are today, don't forget that!
It's a give and take relationship!

I see DMZ birthdays as a special thing for all the heads to come together, definitely see it as DMZ as saying thank you for the support, the purchases etc to the fans.
----
ALSO so many heads on here haven't been to a DMZ, wow it's a shame because it really is an experience! The 5th birthday was possibly the best night i've ever been to!
