i can get them with massive but i have found that most of the waveforms sound sort of artificial. idk i cant really explain it that well.
like the main synth in this: Soundcloud

any release info on that song?
btw i find malstrom to be awesome for making high pitch bass tones. the way i find them sounding best is to actually use a low octave, but then put the shift knob all the way up, this makes them high pitch but still have some thickness to them and not too thin and piercing. not sure how to achieve that in massive though.

Subtraktor on reason has waveforms 7 and 11 which are very glassy . But yeah I haven't the faintest idea about massive.

Haha the best one is Reeseliars avatar Fits perfectly with anything lol.
Its from this:
that tune is awesome! love it. the synth sounds metallic sometimes, that can be done with short delays. don't know how to get the ringy waveform tho, i'd like to see how its done.

I remember getting somewhere near sound while screwing around with a frequency shifter. might be a place to start.

in massive use a saw (or whatever you want) for you first osc, second osc change it from spectrum to formant and play with the frequency using the intensity control
Edit i cant listen to the tune you posted but just saw people posting comments about glassy sounding, not got a clue on that one, probably something to do with having a high resonance with an envelope on the cutoff and choice of osc

sure it isn't resonance of the filter turned right up?

Just turning the res may have something to do with it but it alone wont make a glassy sound. Im sure it has to do with picking the right waveform and FM.

ya fm can def to the trick because the key to those glassy waveforms is little spikes in the right frequencies.
but like i said malstrom has capabilities of making glassy sounds like that without any fm needed. just depends on like you said the waveform..
