Please? Because all of the best threads just get sent there to die. The Techno thread, the Jungle thread, the Dub and Roots thread...you could find great tunes in threads like those almost everyday, and now you're lucky if you get a few posts in them a week. Other Music is a graveyard, let's get rid of it.

I've been campaigning for this for quite some time. It might cause a little bit of inconvenience during the transition but it needs to be done.

into SNH is the only option really. it might not be ideal but it'll be better than things are atm imo

some could go into main perhaps (and already are doing for some reason...)

due to the name of our URL, you'll never see it all in one forum. people come to this site with an expectation. 95% of our traffic doesn't come here to find the best electro tunes. this is a fact, because we can see that most of our unique traffic comes via search engines searching " dubstep" and its related keywords.

snh was always, everything off topic to dubstep. we're at a size in the membership, where any radical change has x 10 the impact, as its impossible to make everyone happy, nor are we trying to do that. probably the best thing to do, would be to put it all into SNH, but that would also change the dynamics, as SNH is for the most part filled with discussions outside of music. we'll see, but if anyone feels strongly for or against this idea, let us know here.

if you want the threads to stay alive, keep posting in them. it's as simple as that. quit hiding in one tiny slice of the forum.

so putting all 'other' kinds of music (bar house) in snh (which is the 'offtopic' forum) makes perfect sense (plus you're getting rid of a forum that is barely used)

and stuff that isnt dubstep (or house) goes into the forum which is about offtopic shit
