Newbie, looking for that bass

I have a theme I'm working on for a web series, and the creator wants a chippy quirky house/brostep track for it.
Here's what I have so far:
http://soundcloud.com/burnbeautiful/cut ... -intro-wip
I'm trying to figure out how to get a really hard-hitting low end, especially in the dubstep part. Right now I'm using a straight sine wave that matches the lead notes. Anyone got any tips or know good tutorials for where I should go from here?
