apparently they are.Towany wrote:the drums aren't voices.....
It was Melodyne. And Kontakt, and FL stock plugins including its autotune plugin... mixed with high end SoundToys and Waves lol. Something... odd about that.bassinine wrote:seems like an auto tuner that's designed to make skrillex's vocals faster. what's makes it any better than melodyne?
Really????What about beardy man and faith sfxwormcode wrote:
But yeah Dub FX is the master at that, and it sounds unbelievably good.
I see what your saying just don't agreee-motion wrote:yeah beardyman and stuff are technically better at beatboxing. but the thing about dub fx is that his tracks are over the edge, awesome music. even if it wasn't made with his voice it would be awesome.
oh, duh. wasn't paying much attention i guess. thought it was some vst for noobs to get "skrill vocals" without doing any work.wormcode wrote:It was Melodyne. They are great beatboxers, but I just never rated the music. I'm not into contemporary rap, and they have more of a rap/hip hop element. I'm more into dub, reggae, jazz and which Dub FX seems to draw more from. Not saying they aren't great at what they do, just not into the tunes that I've heard. If they have some more jazzy and dub stuff I'd like to check it.lloydy wrote:Really????What about beardy man and faith sfxwormcode wrote:

Dub fx is the bollox but these boys are next level for me.
Yeah i hear what your saying he has a more chilled vibe which i completely dig,i think faith sfx is just a really really talented guy at what he does and always sticks to his sound which i respect and think is quality.Beardyman is just so creative and off the cuff which i have equal respect for,i watched one of his shows where the crowd choose keywords for stuff he will come up with and it was just brilliant to watch.I think the first track was a dubstep track about toast and he absolutely nailed it,he really hypes the crowd up and gets everyone involved which is great to watch and draws in pretty big audiences all because of his mouth.wormcode wrote:They are great beatboxers, but I just never rated the music. Anyway I'd much rather hear them beatbox/rap than hear that crap Exile does with his mouth and glitch plugins lol.
