^^^

thats about when I lost all interest in the dnb stuff, that stuff, offficially didnt care after I sold "New Forms" 2 weeks after buying it . . .

I really dont like the whole 'live' electronics thing, bass music is built outof interlocking computer riddims, its the tightness that makes the sound compelling . . . having elemnts that r off kilter but locked in. just my pref. like

Nope. Straight up dude. It was about a year ago, maybe longer...

had session musicians lined up and was converting my arrangements into staffs for them.

the whole project got expensive so I dropped it..but the idea was great..a live dubstep pa with all live musicians and instruments..how cool does that sound!

I used to do a thing like that about 6-7 years ago, it all went really well until we ran out of money and couldn't afford to pay the guy who was doing the recording. I've actually been thinking about starting another live project for a while now, although I've always found it hard meeting like minded people. Anyway, my best advice to anyone trying this kind of thing is to get a really fucking good drummer, it's a nightmare without one. And if you're lucky enough to find one be nice to him.

I've worked out quite a few steppy beats on my drumkit.

Ivry from Compression SF plays bass, and we're working out some details @ the moment on doing the live Dubstep set. :4:
