ripping off audio from dvds

how do u do this????is it possible to do it with soundforge?

You need a program like total recorder which will act as a real-time recorder for your computer's audio playback going through it before reaching the computer output.

I think it costs a tenner or so but it is well worth it as you can record streaming audio etc.. as well.

or you can just send it out and then back it and record your soundcard input...

orrrrr...i mean you could get super snazzy rip it directly from the video with something like dvddecrypter...

It can be done internally by selecting soundcard mixer output as the recording source in soundforge..

should skip a few unnecessary a/d-d/a conversions :)

in cubase / nuendo / logic you can import the video.
its embedded audio track will automaticaly extracted to new stereo track on your arange page.

Snip out what you need and Bob's your uncle
