Help with turntable

Can someone help me with that noise?
Im connecting it thru phono
The turntable is numark tt200, im only trying to connect one turntable
receiver is a jvc

Is it my turntable or my receiver?

Used to have that exact turntable with the same problem, ground the turntable to the receiver mate if there's a ground screw for it.

There should be a thin black wire that can screw in to the turntable where the phono leads go in. Screw it in that end, and then hopefully there might be something similar on the receiver to attach the other end to.

Is that wire The one with the fork like end ? That's the only other wire I have

yeah it's the fork wire, there's a thing that you can unscrew with your fingers that it slots into that you then tighten up.

and yeah, play your records on 45rpm, they sound better :mrgreen:
