I'm a visual artist (& DJ/producer when I get the chance!). Dub music, right through to Dubstep, has been influential in my creative development. I'm currently working on a dub influenced art project - I've got a new series of laser etchings in development & I plan to do a set of portraits of pioneers like King Tubby & Lee Scratch Perry etc. I plan to match the portrait with images of the soundsystems & cities where the sounds emerged. As the project develops I was hoping to bounce some ideas around online here & see if anyone has any inspiring knowledge & insights into the artists, sounds & locations... also some sculptural & installation ideas on the list... all in the planning stages now, so things will start taking shape over the next few months..
