Yeah definitely agree.scattybeanhead wrote:i feel the same way that this guy does. wish it was still like that when you HAVE to go down to the shop to listen to tunes and actually talk to people about it, building a scene and a community rather than loads of people sitting at home on the internet buying stuff through the post.

True say. Though Tunnidge might have to be my favorite - so much truth to what he says.scattybeanhead wrote:mate the don of them all is pinch. love interviews with him, he always seems to have such interesting things to say

I've got around 250 records now and all of them were bought on the internet. And I fucking hate that. I wish I could just walk into a record store, stay there for a while just browsing through crates, but unfortunately there just aren't any more stores around where I live. There used to be 3 but they all had to close their doors. 1 of them actually 1 day before I bought my first record...
A real shame really.
Close to Rotterdam mate. We used to have Triple Vision and Rec-Order here but they had to close their doors and only sell from their website now. The only other store I can think of that sells electronic music is Clone Records, but I'm not sure if they still have a physical shop either...Jurrecane wrote:Can i ask where you from in Holland?vishes wrote:Yeah definitely agree.scattybeanhead wrote:i feel the same way that this guy does. wish it was still like that when you HAVE to go down to the shop to listen to tunes and actually talk to people about it, building a scene and a community rather than loads of people sitting at home on the internet buying stuff through the post.

it used to be so good at uni when i could just wander down to the shop, have a chat with the guy about new tunes, be able to listen to anything even if you might not wanna buy it and go home with a bag full of wax and listen to it properly at home. really miss that...vishes wrote:Close to Rotterdam mate.
