im good with squares and envelopes and stuff. but i am trying too get my low warm bass notes too have a certain feel. ive been tryin for ages now and i cant recreate it.. mine sound weedy and dry compared too theeese hits......... can someone please help me...... thanx in advance the best forum too have ever existed!!!!

yo man, I just recreated this bass in like 5 minutes.

I made it all in massive
its just a squarewave into a low pass filter with the resonance all the way up
link an envelope to the cutoff, and have it drop from about 7 o clock to the bottom
play with the attack/decay/sustain of the envelope until you get the sound you want
after that i just added some very light distortion inside of massive
if you need any more help i'll post a screenshot, but the most important thing is having the resonance all the way up on the filter (I used the daft filter inside massive)

here we go again. with this so u want too sound like skrillex shit.. wanting too make soudns lke skrillex and me wanting a low warm subby bass is completely diffrent.... and thank you alot for helping me (to the person who made the patch in massive but i still think wookies sounds alot different .... its harder then it looks even though its so fuckin simple.

What mic are you using? sounded good.

its not a wookie sound tho its just a standerd low warm bass but i stil cant get it spot on.. id even be happy with a standerd wav sample. if it was like the one in LITTLEEE MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

RE: Mic, I was using a Sterling Audio ST51 a killer bargain for a condenser.

RE: Voice over work, I'd love to, but it's not exactly the easiest industry to get into (nor do I know where to start).
