noticed this remix comp the other day, not the biggest fan of doctor p or his 'dubstep' but i liked the leads on this one, so i decided to remix it for myself, i'm not going to bother entering it for multiple reasons, but some of the prize package is handy

hated the vocals, so i just did what i wanted, it's not bro, hence why i'm not entering the competition, haha.

Did anybody else catch this or done anything with this? would be good to hear if anyone else who likes the deeper side more had a take on it.

ill have mad respect if he actually walks the walk on that one and selects something unique, but, I bet a moombroton, drumstrep, or electro-yoy tune wins.

as basic A said, although it says try your own, almost every remix does, plus, i don't want a good sound (not necessarily my remix) but a good sound/vibe thrown into the mainstream, funnily enough.

I as well am going to enter. Just need to muster up the strength and tolerance to deal with chopping up wav files and dealing with hours of key issues and getting the tune to flow.

Someone remind me why producing is fun? More of a labor when you actually have the knowledge.

Your remix is fucking amazing, intro needs a lot of work, but it's got this almost hip-hop feel to it. I'd say enter man, that's such an awful mindset to have. You really think it would be negative if by some chance he picks your remix? You'd rather it left alone? Really?

In the end it's yours and nobody elses, but really that's a pretty bad way to look at it.

Just going to post my remix I was working on with a friend that's new to production.

Thought it had a somewhat potential but I guess I didn't try hard enough/finish it...every remix I heard on youtube was shit haha.

Dubstep into a Moombahcore drop. Tried to make it goofy as fuck like Doctor P. It came out aight though.
