Feedback / HELP! [Dungeon Dubstep]

Hi everyone. I've been lurking this forum for about a year and a half now, and never really had the time to start producing. But since I've stopped working I have copious amounts of time to dedicate to it now.
Yes I have read the help threads and have watched volumes and volumes of video tutorials such as Distance, Icicle, etc, but most of the production term jargon goes right over my head so no matter how much I have tried grasping it, I can't seem to. I actually made the bass from Distance's tutorial quite successfully, but it is not the sound I want. I really want to get into dungeon like Sleeper, District, Compa and that kind of sound, and I think I have gotten down the basics of atmosphere, empty space, showcasing of the drums, but I don't know how to save my life to make the bass in songs like say..Submerged [Sleeper]. If anyone can't PM me and give me some personalized help that would be great, if not at least check out my intro and see if I am on the right track.

TL;DR - Learning dungeon, wanna help? cool. If not, at least see if I am on the right track with my intro

If your using logic, the EFM1 synth, open it and the prelouded preset sounds pretty dungeony/ leofah when you drag out the attacl, if that makes sense haha. But its good for dark basses haha. But i like this intro man :)

Ummm in massive my mate makes a lot of biome style basses using square or saw waves but then band rejecting and low passing them with envelopes, its hard to explain but it works :P Low passes work nice on most basses to make them sound dark though

Thanks for the small tip. I've gotten around to making Distance style (dungeon but more gritty) style bass, but Distance is just a shot too harsh than what I want. Trying to acheive a Sleeper / Biome sound!
