SGNL - Fuselage EP
Echodub's latest 4-track EP comes from Washington DC based SGNL (Bryan Johns). Working with Spherix, and a collection of talented vocalists, Bryan takes the deep 170 style of drum & bass popularised by Autonomic and works in his own incredible unique intricacies, synth work, bass and rhythm programming.
Incredibly tight, bottomless, idiosyncratic almost paranoid slabs of half-tempo drum and bass work are order of the day for the Fuselage EP. Micro percussion skittering over an atmospheric base, a peppering of clever effect work, beautiful vocals weaving in and out of the mix and the vision to pull all the elements together in to a very strong EP. The Fuselage EP speaks volumes about Bryan's talent and ambition.
