anyone have experience with these lil noise boxes?
prolly gonna buy one soon and looking for best bang for the buck
is the duo lacking anything the normal monotron has, or is it just the same machine with a second osc for the same price?

I'm getting a delay just because I love the videos of it...and it could be used as an external delay unit.

I have every monotron and the monotribe. I would say the delay is the most essential piece of kit out of those. A true analog delay... that you can run things through for 50 bucks.... yes.

The delay is "analogue-like" digital.
I received the Duo. I recommend it as a cheap anologue synth if you don't have one.
I got a yoy sound out of it, and some other sounds.
Would anyone like a sample pack?

I bought the Delay b/c I wanted to use the delay/filter as an external FX unit. More bang for my buck in that regard. I've recorded some fucking about with the synth parts and loaded them up in my ESX or into Absynth before as well. If you've got the ability to record and route audio through it probably 50 bucks better spent on any of these units than another plug in. I say delay. All the units are lo fi...but I love the Delay : )
