New producer needing alot of advice

Hi there. So I've been producing for about 3 months now... and I've made some really good tracks. But what I've realized is that all my sounds I create in massive are simply based off of luck. I usually just jerk around with LFO's, filters and effects until I get a crazy sound but I think it's about time I actually learn the technical details and be able to have a better understanding of the program.
Also I have no clue how to mixdown a track, use "Compression" or master a song and I feel like I need to learn those things as well.
Sorry if there are already threads like this, I just thought I would express what I need to know (:

Cheers,
~Djchron

Soundcloud
p.s. heres the tracks that I've made so far. All the sounds are made from scratch in Massive.

When you start out in sound design its alot of luck at first but then that luck turns into experience. I have been using massive for years now and I still just luck onto sounds but the difference is now I know that this will go well with that or that needs more of this.

Thanks I guess? Not really what I was looking for(: I actually WANT to know the ins and outs of Massive, and I long to be able to master a track, and just make music a cut above the previous track until I become something special.

Sorry I just assumed you had a look at the stickys. Everything you would ever need to know is in the production bible.

Read the massive manual, if you dont understand anything google it. Its not rocket science.

This forum is just full of the same stupid questions over and over agen.

Study the way sound works and the correlation between harmonics and whatnot. Also, if you feel like it, try your 'luck' at sound design solely in audacity.

try to be progressively more intentful (<- is this a word?) with your sound-design. Really visualize what you want and think of what modules can get you there (after reading the manual). Randomly playing with knobs has its place too, but learning how to really analyze sounds (or what sounds are missing) is pretty big.

a majority of the sounds I make come as a result of luck and just messing around. don't beat yourself up about it, its all part of the fun!
