Home Recording Studio help

making an at home recording studio! can i use this with garageband:

your probably better off buying your things separately and getting logic studio for 199.

you could get the saffire 6 interface and fostex pm1 mk2 monitors. then get logic and a decent mic. also get your cables from monoprice and save some money. could probably get all of that for 600-700

yea usually those package deals are that price because certain bits in it are lacking, be it the cables, the mic or whatever
if you toss me a budget i'll throw some recommendations out there, used to do this shit for a living heh

you can.

once you know what you're doing you're gonna ditch the monitors and interface for something better, and either upgrade or get rid of the mic, but shit-- you gotta start somewhere.

w that said deadly's right, and if you've got $600 to spend it could be better spent on ebay. and as always, buy smart, buy once.

buy cheap, buy twice
