Underworl uses this pad a lot in earlier albums.

Its 2 soft analog pads played in black keys i think.
I tried something, quite close, but something missing, mayby some filtered white noise?
Yes it is beauty,i am intrested also how to make it properly.
Try this, I haven't tried but this might get you on the right track.
Take 2 Saw Waves, detune them 1-2 cents from one another. Route one wave through one band pass filter, and the other through a separate band pass filter, if possible, pan these two filters separate from each other so ones on the right and ones on the left. Get the band pass filters modulated by an LFO sine wave at a slow-ish speed in the range of 300-800hz, maybe a little smaller range than that but I'm going off the top of my head here. Make sure the band pass filters are being modulated in an opposite polarity. Once you get that down, route both through a Low Pass filter as to cut off any high freqs and any grittynesss, you want that lowpassed mid range.
From here, slow attack and release to get the "pad", maybe a little chorus to get more movement but don't overdue it. Maybe some verb but that's up to you.

Thats the classic Roland Juno Pad sound if im not mistaken, used in a lot of late 80s-90s techno and rave.
I dont know how the patch is made though.
Id imagine you would get a similar result by low-passing some of these @ 4:50
