Nice piano part on the intro, play yourself or sample?Drums could do with being a bit louder, not the kik because that is weighty enough.Love the appeg sound that comes in really uplifting maybe could sit in the background a bit more when it first comes in it is very prominent.
I like the track mate, mix is a bit rough around the edges but the track itself is really moving and has a beautiful vibe.

well i can play a little bit of piano but as i don't have a midi interface i in putted all of the notes (took quite a while). for the drums should i add a low pass filter then increase it gradually? should i add a route track for all the quieter elements in the drum beat then increase the volume aswell? Thanks for your feedback and i will take note of making sure i work on the drums to get the balance right.

With the drums its just volume for me,the kik sounds fine its the percussion and the snare just sounds a tad to quiet. They just get drowned out by everything else in the mix.Did you use a lot of reverb on the elements? It just all sounds a bit too muddy and the beats get a bit lost.
Listen to the beats on the drop, the kik is nice and present but the drums just sound to much in the background, when that stunning appeg sound comes in and you get the next drop they are hidden even more by all the new elements.Without sitting in front og the tune and mixing it myself i can't tell if its just too much verb or not enough eqing/gain staging.
I still say though it is a beautiful track mate and if you really drew that piano in as midi you are a very talented person because that there made my hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
Honestly get this mixed and send it out there mate i've no doubt this would get picked up quick.
I'm on my 4th listen and about to show my wife, rough diamond in the making and a simply divine piece of music.

Yes i did use quite a lot of reverb which im going to reduce. im also gonna try and master my track to get all of the elements balanced (EQing and volume etc.) i will keep some reverb (but reduce it) on the snare though but i might take out some hi hats and stuff with reverb on.

Pretty good tbh. Sounds kind of Post-Rocky, check out Collapse Under The Empire if you haven't heard of them.

I think cut the reverb back and see how the mix sounds, you shouldn't really use so many reverb plugs, you thought of using sends or even the reverb you have on the elements high pass and see if it unmuddies the mix.

really nice! drums need more space in the mix, you gotta take a lot of the low end out of that piano and give it a dip in like 400-500 hz range.. see if that cleans it up some

Ohh.. I have this often, I only realized after listening that you posted another version up at the bottom -_-

I love the piano well done, nice drums but way too much reverb on them for my likings, or at least make it a little bit more subtle, those arps that come in are quite sick though, and fit well with the piano, overall I think you got your theory in music sorted, very well done.. just need some more work on the mix, but to be honest I think that will come over time so I wouldn't worry too much about it, it is a nice track!

Did you draw each piano note in separately? if so huge respect!

Thanks for your comments. As its my first proper track ive worked hard on it and asked feedback cos i expect it to have some errors. I think for now though i'll leave it as it is and put it up for a free download.
