Saddest moment in dubstep?

I was pretty gutted upon hearing that Darkstar scrapped half an album's worth of "Aidy's Girl"-esque tunes before going in the direction they went with North. That got me thinking, what was the saddest moment in dubstep for you? Could be anything, like a particular moment in a track that makes you tear up, whatever

This will turn into a brostep thread.

When toasty stopped producing dubstep. Could say the same about Vex'd & Loefah really but Loe is concentrating on running Swamp and DJing more than producing.. Vex'd ended up as Kuedo. So some sad things have turned out pretty amazing.

Well, jamie vex'd did. Roly porter goes by armour now IIRC. But you're right, Severant was my favorite album of 2011

when good producers completely change their style. sometimes it isnt a bad thing, but a lot of the time the producer completely moves on from their original productions it just leaves a feeling of wasted talent

My saddest personal moment was when Kromestar didn't show for the Psychedelic Radio 2 Yr Anniversary in San Francisco.

Yeah my bad I meant Jamie Vex'd. I thought Roly Porter just goes as Roly Porter now? Aftertime was out last year and credited as Roly Porter. I loved Vex'd and like their stuff more than anything they've done solo but if they lose interest the music will be effected.. can't force it, just happy they still make good music. Severant was a fantastic album.

Lost tunes are the worst, don't mind if certain DJs keep playing unreleased tunes like Yunx with Midnight.. but just completely forgotten and lost bangers :(

In dubstep ... Serious ... the day that I remember as the day Marlow stopped producing tunes. Imho he is a pioneer in dubstep and he had his own sound for sure !
Little bit mellow, but yeah...

True.

I was looking forward to that album.

Apparently it was going to be called "South"

Armour is his alias for dubstep tunes.

As for my saddest moments:
when Vex'd stopped making tunes; swamp81 stopped releasing dubstep and Loefah claiming "140 is dead" (bullshit claim just 'cause he lost interest); Skull Disco shutting down.

A sad one for me was when 501 stopped making tunes that were released on Subway and started making tunes for Never Say Die + OWSLA... :i:

This. Don't think anything tops this.

Oh actually, Kode 9's "Maybe never...." about whether or not that Burial tune is coming out.
