Those are vocal samples taken from a film (old sci-fi/horror films are a good place to look for samples)...the main sample has some light distortion on it to clip the peaks of the soundwave and give it a gritty feel, and the deeper ones sound like they've been pitched down for somesections.

Technically, yes. But unless the track is a worldwide number one smash that gets radio play etc, no-one is going to come knocking asking for royalties/licensing.

You could protect yourself by making a second version of the track using the same vocals, but re-created by either yourself or a singer/friend...that way you'd have a version which didn't violate copyright. But again, if this is just going out on your Soundcloud page for a few people to listen to, you've got nothing to worry about.

Worth youtubing for these kind of films. You'll find quite a few olden films that are fully uploaded (legally) horror / sci-fi etc.

There are numerous sites that host this sort of horror/sci fi film, and they are free to download and sample.

Usually sampled from Sci-Fi movies from way back when but you can record it and add some effects but its like lo fi i think im not to good with vocals

its just searching and finding a good sample....you can find some cool movie samples on sample swap they are 100% FREE,

this site is a really good starting point. with those 100 greatest compilations you can definitly find one or two fitting quotes
