Product box or Download?

So, I have a ton of software instruments but I'm about to actually purchase one for the first time.
What do you guys think about ordering the product box over the download? Seems like it would be a little safer/easier for when I eventually switch computers. Any cons?

My copy of FLStudio is download only, but Massive is product box. TBH, now that I'm looking at installing on my new machine I kinda wish I'd take product box for FLStudio too.

Also it's nice to have them on your shelf or whatever. Adds a certain look/feel to the professionalism haha.
Most products will also let you download too, usually you have an account on their site that has all your product licenses.
Some of them will make you pay to re-download products you already purchased though.

Flstudio provides lifetime free updates for download products only, not boxed. Something to seriously consider.
Personally, I would prefer download. It is much greener; when you get a boxed version of the software, INVARIABLY it is already outdated, and must be updated anyway.
If you'd like a box, take one out of your recycling bin and get a pack of Sharpies, and have at it. You can put that on your shelf.

Download. Are you serious? Box products usually cost way too much extra to be anything near worth it

download.
box stops making sense once the product is updated, so you have to d/l the update anyway.

I'd go net, but that's because physical things tend to get lost around me.

Well I'm buying from Native Instruments, so the product box is the same price with free shipping. And it says nothing about free updates for the download version.

DL and back your shit up.
1 less junky-looking box on the shelf that needs to be dusted.
