Hello people ^_^
I've occasionally posted around this forum before on a different account, but recently i've decided to actually start producing myself so I decided to have a name change.
Anyway, here's my very first track up on SoundCloud, would be much appreciated if you could give it a listen and give honest feedback that I can use for my next track(s)
Cheers!
P.S If you like it, feel free to download it from SoundCloud, would be much appreciated ^_^

The mid range bass is too overpowering, work on your mixdown, but I like where you're going with this, just do me a favor, go to google, the go to youtube, and watch evry video and read every post that has to do with mixing and mastering. Also check out the production thread, there is gold on there.

If I did that, i'd have watched a lot of videos, and learnt nothing through boredom lmao, unfortunately there's an awful lot of crap on there but yeah I do now have a few videos/forum threads saved in my bookmarks since I finished the track as i've heard generally the same critisisms, and yes i'll give that thread a look, anything you can reccomend? Thanks for the responce anyway mate

I recommend downloading the production bible that is on here, while video tutorials on the net are helpful and such, I believe the dubstepforum production thread is the BEST way to learn, It's chock full of information and it's easier to go back and read for reference, while the mixing and mastering thread isn't in the Production bible, there's other useful stuff, here's a link to the mixing and mastering thread,
http://dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=233775 I highly suggest reading anything you can on the production forum, if you don't want to watch videos.

you could try adding something "off-beat"

@Complicated; Yeah I wasn't really sure what I was doing mastering-wise lol, I do need to find some guides on mixdowns and mastering and give them a read
@NoBadge; Somebody else mentioned it sounds too uniformed and 'wooden', so I reckon that's some also something I need to work on, especially as dubstep tends to be very off-beat rhythmatically (if that's even a word lmao).
Thanks for the responces guys!
