Nah, half time drums do not equal dubstep. Or else there's a slew of 80s tracks that should be labelled such as well.
Travis Barker is drumming for Cypress X Rusko though which is a Cypress Hill & Rusko project. It's not that bad actually. Not something I'd listen to myself, but I like Cypress Hill way more than Cudi. Although Cudi was one of the first rappers to start with the dubstep influence when his label commissioned a version of Benga & Coki - Night.

I agree with the majority of this thread, that tune is fucking awful. But I must say, the bassline did get me a little, could've been any sound tbh, it was a purely musical response.
Drums actually sound like Vengeance Samples hahaha, shameful
