Very cool stuff In composing this piece, which dates from 1962, the author resorted to the experience of using one single sound source: the voice, which is habitually treated with instrumental support.

okay, to be serious - it has nothing to do with dubstep at all, but for me it has a lot to do with inspiration and respect for the pioneers of electronic music and their approach to create music in a very different direction, away from the trodden paths.
the reason for setting the title to "future dubstep" (besides that it's a joke) is that i wish there would be perspectives like this in the future of electronic music and especially dubstep. this bass and space thing, was a nice idea i say and still has a lot of potential.
when it comes to think about sound and sound design there are a lot of possibilities to proceed from where we are now. the aim is to not get stuck in simple rhythmical patterns, similar sounds and the violence of sensation (which is mid-range bass for me). like the electroacoustic composers anyone could translate ideas, things, nature and whatever into sound.
just my 2 cents.

Yeah I get you man. That's what I meant about the dub mentality. That 60s and 70s approach of space and weight, tunes made from feeling things out instead of over-thinking everything.

Intelligence sure, but tweaking a synth patch for days is more what I meant about over-thinking... trying to make the craziest sound type thing.
