Sidechaining in Fruityloops 7

Is it possible to do. If so could anybody point me in the right direction. Should i just follow the sidechaining tutorial for cubase and apply it to FL?

Obtain a compressor VST with side chain facility such as "Waves C1 comp-sc".

Put the C1 onto a new channel in FL7.

Take the sound you want to duck, such as a bassline, and route it to the channel with the C1 on it. Pan the signal hard right.

Then take the sound you are using to create the ducking, such as a kick, again route it to the C1, and pan hard left.

Go back to your C1 channel, open up the compressor, and set it so that L->R (left ducks right).

You can do it with the FL peak controller, I tend to use it along with an actual gate like Kjaerhus GAG1 as well.

Go to File>New From Template>Utility>SideChaining
