I know I posted about TDKR in the secret ninja hideout but I just found this and I thought I'd give you guys a heads up since it's to do with production. The soundtrack to the films is great so can't wait to play with this

Wow that's cool. I think I'm more interested in the licensing aspect rather than the actual sounds though haha. I wonder how this came about.

I can't remember the guy's name but he does sound design for Hans Zimmer and loves the U-He stuff. He's done trade show appearances for U-He in the past.

Yeah I forgot Howard Scarr worked on the Dark Knight. I guess he's been getting steady work since in film, nice.
Very familiar with his work as a programmer though, been using and manipulating his patches for like 10 years now on the Virus synths. He also wrote a good free book Programming Analogue Synthesizers that I recommend. http://www.u-he.com/cms/howie http://www.zorchmusic.com/hscarr/

Oh man the sounds are great. So Hans Zimmer has his own personal custom version of Zebra2 programmed by Howard Scarr?

No he's a sound designer/programmer. He makes patches for synth developers and now film composers.

This version looks pretty good - it has divas filters! Apparently its very cpu heavy if you use the new features tho. And its not cheap, as i think you have to own the original zebra?
