I went through quite a phase about ten years ago or so. Used to be really into 'Raw Black Metal'. Don't really listen to much anymore despite one or two artists/bands.
A Forest Of Stars came up on my iTunes recently who I had totally forgotten about.

Still love Burzum (haven't heard his new stuff though, was disappointed by the first album he did out of prison), other than that I don't really listen to anymore Black Metal.

Massive conspiracy against all life is awesome too, as is the compilation tape of all his demos, Howl mockery at the cross. Infact everything by Leviathan rules.

The apex is his side of the Xasthur split though, everything that is amazing about black metal wrapped up in one track: Unfailing fall into naught.

Talking of suicidal/Depressive Black Metal. If you remember a band called Silencer, the vocalist, Nattramn (makes Varg look sane by comparison) went on to work on an Industrial/Ambient project called Diagnose: Lebensgefahr, which was actually pretty good.

Could never get into Silencer though, the vocals ruined it for me.
