yeah, the initial person is the person who posted the tweet, but then in the tweet, they don't @mention any of the people they are about (apart from one of them), so for the celebrities to accidentally read them they would have to get RTd into their timeline (unlikely) or they would have to search their own name (their own problem)

would make a better point if it was like "@katyperry fuck you you fucking slut" but then i guess that wouldn't be funny.

I bet they have Google Alerts for their names. Trent Reznor was one of the first to do that and he'd go and reply to people lol.
