Can someone help me make heavy bass sounds such as these? I've always wanted to know the logic behind basses such as these. I know that they are made in massive and Rekoil only uses distortion in massive, but does anyone know what wave tables and modulation is used to get these sounds?

Okay I guess Ill start this off!
I have been wondering lately how to create that gated arp/chord that is featured throughout this track?
It is best found at 1:41 -1:42 ad 2:09 - 2:11, preferably in massive or fm8, thanks in advance :3

I've loved his last album very much, and I don't want to know, how did he get many other sounds, but sub bass
Anyone says, that it's just a sin-squ in Massive, yeah, detune, yeah chorus, maybe crusher, maybe dist, but I cannot get this sound. If you turn off everything except sub in Phaeleh's tracks, anyway It will rock.
Can someone tell me, or better illustrate step-by-step, how?

yeah just a couple sine waves detune one a bit so it has that "warbling" effect. if you're wondering how it hits so hard that could be down to the equipment he might be recording it off some analogue ting

I've been wondering how to make this sound for a while. I'm not sure if it's more than 1 sound I am pointing out but it sounds very similar.
The synth plays at .18 seconds as a transition, and then starts at .48 and plays throughout the song.
Thanks to whomever can help!
Also if no one minds telling me really fast how they got the voice like that? I know it's pitched down for sure but is there any autotune, reverb, or EQ involved with getting it like that?

The synth in question is a saw with an lfo with resonance

If I were creating a synth similar to it in Massive, would the lfo be modulating the cutoff, resonance, pitch, or something else?

Well see I use reason so itll be hard to translate.. So what I'd do is set the lfo to the frequency and then add resonance within the filter... Again I have no idea how this would be done massive

In Massive, OSC 1 Saw -12, OSC 2 Sine -12, OSC 3 Sine -24.Play with detuning by small amounts and the unisono, also put it as monorotate. Play with classic distortion and dim. exp. as effects. Low pass and play with the resonance and cutoff to prevent too much top end from the saw. Then saturate and compress.

It sounds like he made a duplicate of the voice and pitched them both down a bit but one of the voices is pitched lower. It gives sort of an alien effect.

and that is easy as fuck to make. hoover with pitch going down. ADSR set so it sounds like a pluck
Thick, dense bass sounds

Hey guys,
I'm wondering if anybody knows how the pros get a really thick, booming bass sound (It just sounds very full). For example, in Feed Me's One Click Headshot:
I do layer my synths, keeping the "bottom" end mostly mono and well compressed and the "top" end panned out wide with some reverb and short delay to fill it up, but I find I'm not getting optimal results.

what does mean "q"? transcribe the sentence in common English, please.
I didn't find any posts about his sub on this forum, google and local search can't help me, by the way

that was helpful! thank you. I've become near to THAT sound.

Q&A means "question and answer" like an interview session.
Also I'm glad that helped, I just had another though, check out the default Massive patch "3 Octave Sub" and just look at how they modulate the envelopes and cutoff of the low pass filter, quite good ideas.
