The Label Thread

There was a dj thread but there seems to be no matching label thread, except isolated individual threads like Night Tracks and others. My main argument against those are that in an already congested general discussion often they add not much (posts are sporadic) and some get more attention then others. If we put them all in one place then, at least everyone knows where to look and it can be updated regularly as labels grow and develop. There are enough label heads out there now, so this is a positive contribution for us to "connect" and "network".
i shall start by recommending (
http://www.sandyfinlayson.com/), he does some of the mastering and basically made my life a lot easier as a result. I found him offering his services through his facebook, as i was a fan of his impressive productions under his Duskky alias and then when he offered his services as an engineer i knew i had to take it. he also does, so ive been told, the mastering for Night Tracks label and Broken Bubble.
My label is a relatively new project that i started, with the following line up:
Boh002: Emanfari ep (30th Aug)
Boh003: Kurt Baggaley ep (30th Sept)
Boh004: Kiyomitsu Miyashita (15th October)
Boh005: Get- Effect ep (30th Oct)
Boh006: Dead Noise System ep (15th Nov)
Boh007: Gold Falls (30th Nov)
the sound is diverse, deep electronic music and usually with a slight experimental flavour.
Emanfari previews: (for the dub reggae heads)
Soundcloud
Jelly Llama: (downtempo, leftfield)
Soundcloud
thanks for ur time

its ok, i feel it would be very naive to put on some sort of label showcase after only being around for 2-3 months, i am thinking jan/feb time i might pull together some strings and start a night somewhere, maybe even later, depends on how we are going.

im sorry but organising a label is hard work and then to be trolled by some pathetic no one is just painful. i was merely suggesting that this nobody actually does something useful with his life other then trolling, it would benefit not just him but all of us.

Its the internet, people will take the piss, especially when you start 'The Label Thread' to promote your own label.

i can allow piss taking, but incnic is just like a little fly that wont go away.
the rest of u miss the complete point of this thread, its for all the labels, not just mine, but to get things going i had to write a few posts, this is because i dont see the point in each label having there own thread, which is pretty much turning this forum into a self-plugging spam fest, so that is why i created it. it makes sense,
however i love the self-created egos of some of u....
