Can I say, "Thank You" for helping finish my night off at work with this song! Love Submotion Orchestra, Love Distance - and this just is the bees knees!

i don't agree. just because a track is a remix of a vocal tune, that might be appealing to a "more mainstream oriented" audience, doesn't mean you should expect anything than the usual standart, as i don't think great music has to be exclusively for the heads and can't be appreciated by the common audience. (not saying, this one's bad music, just not exactly my taste).
i also think, this is a lot different to the nicky remix and find it a little bold to claim that it's only aimed at the same audience.
look, the production value is still high, i just think creatively its sitting in the exact same place as the nicky/example/etc EP that came out not long ago.
Just heard this on the latest Youngsta Rinse FM show B2B with Distance... Fucking huge tune! Not so much into Distance generally speaking, and I love Submotion so much that all remixes I'd heard so far didn't make the originals justice imo, but this is BIG.
See, that's the thing that pisses me off with Submotion: no vinyl...
Thx for the info anyway.
it would be lovely to press vinyl and I have been trying to persuade the label for a long time now, and they in turn have to persuade their distributor. Neither are up for it. Don't blame the band for that.
Thx for the info. I wasn't blaming the band at all - I can imagine you know who your fans are, and that there's a lot of them who are more into the vinyl format - such as me
I say your music deserves this format. You can't imagine how many times I've listened to the first album - a masterpiece in my opinion. It's just sad I can't use your tracks for mixing - as I'm an old school guy, spinning only vinyl.
Let's hope at some point you'll manage to convince the label... or maybe switch to another one more inclined to release vinyl
And Exceptional used to release vinyl... I have some old releases from them on wax. They should get back on it!
